Hi Everyone!

So I know it may seem a bit late in the month for a favourites post, but I wanted to get back in the habit of sharing what I’m loving right now with you, and you know what? There’s no time like the present! (Not to mention the fact that time tends to get away with me and its highly likely that I’ll miss the end of this month too…) As you can see, there are only a few things as due to one thing or another, I just wasn’t using that many make up and beauty products.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Streak – When I first started blogging not a day would pass where I didn’t hear about the Naked eye shadow palettes, of which I’m pretty sure there were only two of at the time! However, when it came to actually purchasing one for myself, I spotted the Flushed palettes and ended up getting one of those instead. This is my OG face palette and where I haven’t had the time and patience to experiment with my make up, this has been my go to. Thanks to this wonder I look like I get maximum effect with minimum effort.

Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara in Black – I’m starting to think I’m becoming a bit fickle when it comes to mascara, but what can I say, I love so many! My current go to is this offering from Clinique. A couple of quick coats and I have full thick lashes without the need for falsies. Which is a relief, seeing as I’m yet to successfully apply them myself…

Mac Satin Lipstick in Twig – Confession time. My name is Ashleigh as I’m obsessed with Mac lipsticks. I seem to have built up quite the collection, and my preference definitely seems to be the Satin finish. I have been wearing Twig loads, and find that the brownish pink shade compliments my skin tone. The creamy finish of the Satin lipsticks makes them really comfortable to wear as well, which makes it even better!

KMS California Free Shape Quick Blow Dry Spray – I find washing, blow drying and then straightening my hair to be one of the most tedious tasks of life. Even though my hair isn’t as long as it used to be, it can still be hard to manage, but this spray is a miracle worker. The amount of time it takes to dry my hair is dramatically reduced, with the benefit of added protection too, keeping it in good condition.

Candles – My final favourite is not one specific product, but more an actual type. Both me and my husband have absolutely been loving candles lately! During the Winter months, seasonal scents seemed to add an extra warmth to the house. Now as we move in to Spring, more sweet or floral scents have taken over, and the house seems bare without a candle burning. I have being trying all different brands lately, some great, some not quite so good. As soon as I have narrowed down my top picks I will put a post together.

So there we have it, those are my current picks for the last month or so! I really do enjoy these types of posts so I will try and continue to keep them going. In the mean time, let me know if you’ve tried anything mentioned, and leave me your make up and beauty recommendations below!

Have a great day 🙂

    1. I absolutely love the Covergirl Clump Crusher (the bright green tube), L’Oreal telescopic is a great formula and I particularly love the wand. Avon also have a really wide rand that are dupes for lots of different high end brands. Thank you for commenting, your question has given me some inspo for a post! xx
