Turning 31…

Hi Everyone,

It seems like only 5 minutes ago that I was bidding farewell to my twenties, but alas, last week I turned 31! It has been a year of both ups and downs, but never one to focus on the negatives, I thought I would mark the occassion by sharing my top ‘being 30’ moments!

Right before my birthday last year I finally decided to start taking driving lessons. I had put it off for so long as I never thought I would actually pass and imagined myself just spending a fortune and not getting anywhere. I also get so nervous when it comes to any type of test or exam, which usually ends in me not doing as well as I wanted to. I failed my first theory test as I’d got myself so wound up, but it taught me a lesson and the next time I took it I passed with flying colours. When it came to sitting the actual practical exam, I couldn’t believe it when I passed first time! I’ve loved driving around in my little Twingo ever since! As you can see, style was not on the top of my list that day!

Another big thing for me this year was the relaunch of my blog. I started going to blog events again, and have met loads  of lovely people who I have regular chats with on Twitter. My site got a makeover from the incredibly talented Jemma over at Dorkface and I am totally in love with it. Life has been pretty crazy lately so I haven’t been able to blog as much as I wanted to, but I will soon be able to run on a proper schedule, which leads me to my next point…

I’ve also got a new job! Now this is a pretty new development and I don’t actually start until January, but I literally couldn’t be more excited! I hadn’t been looking to switch jobs, but this one came up and I just knew I had to take the plunge, my heart told me to go for it! I will tell you more about it once everything is in place as I don’t want to temp fate.

So there we have it, being 30 was great, and now I’m looking forward to seeing what 31 will bring!
